Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the FaithLock mobile application ("Service") operated by FaithLock ("us," "we," or "our").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FaithLock, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

FaithLock is a faith-based digital wellness application that helps users reduce screen time and build spiritual habits through:

• App blocking functionality with Scripture meditation
• Scheduled protection periods
• Prayer reminders and accountability features
• Screen time tracking and statistics

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of FaithLock, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Free Trial

FaithLock may offer a free trial period for premium features. You will be charged at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before it ends.

Subscription Plans

• Weekly Plan: Charged weekly
• Monthly Plan: Charged monthly
• Yearly Plan: Charged annually

Payment Terms

• All payments are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled 24 hours before the renewal date
• Refunds are subject to Apple/Google's refund policies
• Prices may change with 30 days notice

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use FaithLock only for lawful purposes
• Not attempt to bypass or disable app blocking features
• Not reverse engineer or modify the app
• Not share your account with others
• Not use the app in any way that could harm or disable the Service

6. Screen Time Access

FaithLock requires access to your device's Screen Time API (iOS) to function properly. By granting this permission, you authorize FaithLock to:

• Monitor app usage on your device
• Block selected apps during scheduled periods
• Display usage statistics

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by FaithLock and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

FaithLock is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement of third-party rights
• Freedom from bugs, errors, or interruptions

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FaithLock shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the Service
• Unauthorized access to your data
• Loss of data or profits
• Any other matter relating to the Service

10. Spiritual Content Disclaimer

FaithLock provides Scripture verses and spiritual content for meditation and encouragement. This content:

• Is provided for personal spiritual growth only
• Should not replace professional religious, medical, or mental health guidance
• Represents general Christian teachings and may not align with all denominations

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FaithLock and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Abuse of the Service

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately, and any data associated with your account may be deleted.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which FaithLock operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of FaithLock shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except where prohibited by law.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by:

• Posting the new Terms in the app
• Updating the "Last Updated" date
• Sending an in-app notification (for material changes)

Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and FaithLock regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements.
